
Iona is a Specialist Pelvic Health Physiotherapist supporting women across all life stages to feel strong and confident in their bodies.
She splits her time between the NHS and the Pelvic Health Practice, bringing extensive experience in both musculoskeletal and pelvic health physiotherapy. Her clinical approach is also shaped by her own experience as an international lacrosse player for Great Britain and Wales, retiring in 2024.
Iona specialises in pelvic floor dysfunction across all life stages; including pelvic organ prolapse, bladder and bowel concerns, pelvic pain, pregnancy-related symptoms, postnatal recovery, and menopausal screening and support. She has a particular interest in pelvic health in sport and supporting women through a safe, confident return to exercise following pregnancy and childbirth.
Her approach is evidence-based, empathetic and goal oriented. She is passionate about empowering women through education and informed treatment, to move with confidence at every stage of life.
Iona is a member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP), affiliate member of the Association of Pelvic Obstetric and Gynaecological Physiotherapists (POGP), and APPI Therapeutic Yoga trained (Level 1).
