
Aty is a highly experienced Specialist Pelvic Health and Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist. She graduated from the University of Cape Town in 2003 with a BSc (Hons) in Physiotherapy and began her career in South Africa, gaining a strong foundation in musculoskeletal and orthopaedic physiotherapy.
In 2005, Aty relocated to London after completing her Pilates training in Cape Town. She initially worked within the NHS before transitioning full time into private practice in 2010. During this time, she completed her specialist Women’s Health training and has continued to further develop her expertise in pelvic health physiotherapy.
Aty has a particular passion for supporting women through the physical and emotional changes associated with pregnancy, postnatal recovery, and life beyond childbirth. She brings both professional expertise and personal insight to her work, drawing on her own experience of balancing a busy career while raising three daughters.
Her treatment approach combines tailored exercise-based rehabilitation, Pilates-informed movement, and hands-on manual therapy. Aty is deeply committed to education and empowerment, helping her clients understand their bodies and confidently work towards their individual goals.
