Liz Brown

Liz is a goal-oriented, experienced MSK & Pelvic Health Physiotherapist and has worked with high level athletes in snow sports, CrossFit, endurance races, and team sports such as Aussie Rules Football.

She combines her experience outside of the UK, as a ski instructor and pilates teacher, as well as treating sports injuries and abdominal and pelvic rehabilitation to provide high level care. She trained at King’s College London 9 years ago, and for the last 4 years, Liz has been a lecturer at UWE to Year 2 Midwives on how to prevent pelvic floor birth trauma, is an antenatal class teacher, and a physio mentor in Bristol.  Liz loves supporting people returning to exercise post-pregnancy and can guide on staying active and empowered through pregnancy and peri-menopause.

Liz is inspired by other countries’ provision of pelvic health, particularly France providing 10 physio sessions as standard after any birth type, and is constantly updating herself with the latest research-backed evidence for care. Liz is trained in dry needling, taping and real-time perineal and abdominal ultrasound scanning.
